Area Manager, Retail Retail & Store Manager

JOB TITLE

Area Manager | MAF Retail | Head Office UAE

The Area Manager is responsible for the overall performance of certain number of stores within their assigned region. The role focuses on operational excellence, sales growth, cost control, team development, and consistent execution of company standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the hard discount model through rigorous discipline, simplicity in execution, and a relentless focus on efficiency.

• Lead store renovations, openings, and closures in coordination with the Business Development team
• Monitor product quality, freshness, pricing, and availability, and conduct regular spot checks to ensure compliance
• Conduct commercial reviews with Store Managers or Store-In-Charge and implement corrective actions where necessary
• Ensure the implementation of MAF Discount Retail plans and SOPs in alignment with company strategies and procedures
• Oversee all cash-related activities to ensure integrity and accuracy
• Ensure all stores in the region meet or exceed their sales targets
• Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints in collaboration with Customer Care and other relevant departments
• Enforce adherence to standard layout norms, planograms and proper product displays

• Bachelor’s degree is Business or related field
• 5+ years in a Retail Business and 1-4 years of experience as a Area Manager is a must
• Fluency in English is a must
• Strong people skills and leadership skills
