Job Role
:
Assistant Store Supervisor – tMart (cloud store concept offering 30‑minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices). This position is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is full‑time, entry‑level.
Responsibilities
:
- Oversight of store operations during the shift, including end‑to‑end management of staff, ordering, inbound receiving, stocking, and pick‑and‑pack orders.
- Assist the Store Supervisor in staff management, shift scheduling, routine and preventive maintenance.
- Support ordering and store replenishment to ensure proper stock levels, avoiding out‑of‑stock or over‑stock situations, and work with the demand planner and inventory assessment.
- Inventory management:
Conduct store stock‑take and cycle counts on schedule, ensuring accurate inventory and effective stock control. - Inbound receiving:
Ensure accurate receipt of orders according to policies and SOP. - Outbound:
Ensure efficient and accurate picking and packing of customer orders according to SOP. - Monitor fulfillment processes, recommend improvements to increase productivity and profits.
- Implement actions to reduce store‑related shrinkage.
- Enforce hygiene, sanitation, security, and safety standards, as well as service‑level standards, maintaining high customer service.
- Collaborate with the Store Supervisor to discuss issues, propose solutions, and ensure smooth store operations.
Qualifications
:
- Minimum 3‑5 years experience in a supermarket or restaurant environment.
- Energetic, eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills and hands‑on mindset with various tools.
- Robust interpersonal and intercultural skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic is highly advantageous.
