Stock Count Coordinator

Summary:

A Stock Count Coordinator is responsible for conducting and supervising perpetual, mid-year, and year-end inventory counts across retail stores in the UAE. The role ensures inventory accuracy, oversees stock count teams, coordinates with store and PI teams, and maintains standardized best practices in inventory counting while ensuring minimal disruption to store operations.

• Conduct and supervise perpetual, half-yearly, and year-end inventory counts across retail stores in the UAE.
• Ensure readiness of stock count tools (PDT devices, applications, databases, and stationery) before inventory activities.
• Allocate stock count teams to store sections and monitor quality and timely completion of tasks.
• Cross-check team activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with stock count procedures.
• Coordinate with PI Team on inventory schedules and store teams on stock locations and process handovers.
• Ensure zero interruption to daily store operations during inventory counts.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and report deviations to Retail Operations Managers.
• Monitor accurate capturing of stock movement transactions and prevent stock manipulation.
• Standardize and implement best inventory counting practices across stores.
• Prepare and manage inventory-related reports and email communications.
• Support store teams in improving overall inventory count practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Graduate with minimum 2 years’ experience in retail or supply chain
  OR HSC with minimum 3 years’ experience in FMCG retail or supply chain.
• UAE LMV driving license (automatic/manual) – mandatory.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel & MS Word).
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Experience in SAP IS-Retail module is an advantage.
• Proficient in reading and writing English.
• Willingness to travel across UAE stores.
• Ability to work long hours, night shifts, and holidays when required.
