Retail Attendants

Summary

We are seeking energetic and customer focused Retail Attendants to provide good service, promote merchandise, attend to guest needs at retail stores or carts, and ensure consistent housekeeping standards, merchandise display, stock replenishment, cashiering duties, and accurate stock control.

• Provide excellent customer service and seek to understand guest needs.
• Use product knowledge and selling skills to assist guests, going the extra mile.
• Maintain daily housekeeping, stock replenishment, and merchandise display routines.
• Perform cashiering duties accurately and timely.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, company policies, and Environmental Health & Safety requirements.
• Follow safety procedures, avoid working alone where possible, advise line manager when necessary, and assist guests during emergencies.
• Maintain a healthy workplace by observing hygiene, cleanliness, hand‑washing, and proper use of equipment.
• Ensure fire exits are clear, fire extinguishers monitored, first aid kit accessible, and report hazards or near misses.
• Cooperate and resolve incidents involving oneself or others within one’s control.
• Follow rules and regulations to protect lives, welfare, property, and environment.
• Monitor store inventory movement and inform management of irregularities.
• Commit to safety systems and avoid shortcuts, ensuring protection against hazards.
• Comply with management requests and any additional duties as reasonably requested.

• Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to calculate simple mathematics and accurately process various payment modes.
• Good interpersonal skills for interacting with people.
• Team player who meets assigned targets.
• Multi‑tasking ability.

• High school certification.
• Preferably 1 year retail experience or fresh graduate.

• Work independently in a retail store or cart in an outdoor environment.
• Work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays; available for overtime as schedule requires.
• Flexible working hours.
• Physically fit.
