Product Manager – Paints & Décor

Job description:

Key Responsibilities
1. Product & Category Management

• Manage and develop product ranges across:
• Paints & coatings
• Ceramic tiles & slabs
• SPC, vinyl, laminate & wooden flooring
• Wall panels, wallpapers & decorative boards
• Introduce new products, finishes, and designs based on market demand, trends, and competitor analysis.
• Rationalize collections to balance innovation with commercial performance.

• Set selling prices and discount structures by category.
• Ensure target gross margins are achieved and maintained.
• Support the sales team with project-specific pricing for fit-outs, contractors, and bulk clients.

• Train sales teams on:
• Product features and specifications
• Applications and performance
• Recommending the right finish for customer needs
• Support the Fit-Out & Project Team with:
• Material selection
• Samples, mockups, and specifications
• Technical and design guidance during project execution

• Plan, curate, and maintain showroom displays including:
• Tile, flooring, and panel layouts
• Paint and texture feature walls
• Ensure showrooms remain professional, visually attractive, and design-focused.

• Work closely with procurement to:
• Maintain adequate stock of fast-moving items
• Avoid over-stocking slow-moving or obsolete designs
• Monitor stock levels, consumption trends, and re-order cycles.

• Collaborate with marketing to:
• Launch and promote new collections
• Support campaigns, catalogues, and social media content
• Highlight finishes, applications, and complete design solutions

• Category sales growth
• Gross margin performance
• Stock availability and inventory turnover
• Number of projects using Planet Eco finishes
• Successful new product launches

• Experience in paints, ceramics, flooring, panels, or décor products
• Strong knowledge of interior finishes and design applications
• Ability to collaborate with sales teams, designers, and project teams
• Solid commercial, pricing, and product management skills
