THE

TEAM

The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for leading and executing the visual merchandising strategy for AMIRI boutiques across the UAE. This role plays a critical part in translating the brand's identity into a luxury retail experience that drives client engagement, enhances product desirability, and supports commercial performance.

The position goes beyond display execution and requires a commercially minded VM professional capable of influencing key retail KPIs through strategic zoning, product placement, styling, storytelling, and customer journey optimization. The Visual Merchandiser works closely with Retail, Buying, CRM, and Operations teams to ensure every touchpoint within the boutique reflects AMIRI's luxury positioning and delivers an exceptional client experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as the primary liaison between AMIRI HQ, SOHO, and the boutiques for all visual merchandising initiatives.
  • Ensure all global VM guidelines, seasonal campaigns, window directives, and product launches are implemented accurately and within deadlines.
  • Adapt global VM directives to local business needs while maintaining brand consistency and obtaining required approvals where applicable.
  • Ensure visual merchandising supports both the AMIRI brand identity and local commercial opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Store Managers and the Brand Manager to align VM execution with business priorities and sales objectives.
  • Analyze sales performance, sell‑through reports, category performance, and stock availability to optimize product placement and zoning.
  • Recommend VM adjustments to improve product visibility, customer engagement, and category performance.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of visual merchandising initiatives and provide feedback to both local management and AMIRI HQ.
Zoning & Customer Journey
  • Own floor zoning and product adjacencies to create a seamless luxury client journey.
  • Ensure focal points, power walls, mannequins, windows, and key display areas highlight priority products and collections.
  • Continuously assess traffic flow and customer interaction with the space, identifying opportunities to improve the in‑store experience.
  • Maintain a balance between brand storytelling and commercial performance.
  • Work closely with stock teams to ensure VM requirements are supported by inventory availability.
  • Coordinate product transfers and replenishment requirements necessary for VM execution.
  • Partner with store teams to ensure the sales floor is consistently maintained according to VM standards.
  • Ensure display products are regularly refreshed and rotated based on stock levels and business priorities.
Training & Store Support
  • Conduct regular VM trainings and refreshers for retail teams.
  • Coach store teams on styling, product presentation, luxury standards, and daily VM maintenance.
  • Support new store openings, seasonal launches, and major floor moves.
  • Act as the local VM expert and point of contact for all boutique teams.
Reporting & Communication
  • Maintain regular communication with AMIRI HQ regarding implementation status, challenges, opportunities, and local market feedback.
  • Prepare VM reports, implementation updates, and photo recaps for local management and HQ.
  • Track key VM‑related KPIs and provide recommendations to improve store performance through visual merchandising initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
  • 4‑6 years of Visual Merchandising experience within luxury or premium fashion retail.
  • Strong understanding of luxury client behavior and customer journey.
  • Experience working with international VM guidelines and brand standards.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to interpret sales data.
  • Excellent styling and product presentation skills.
  • Experience training and coaching retail teams.
