The Role:

• The Sales Assistant is responsible for generating sales and delivering a positive customer experience. The role involves various operational duties as assigned by the store management team, including maintaining housekeeping duties and adhering to visual presentation standards. Success in this role is measured by the ability to meet sales targets, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and create positive first impressions with customers.

What You Will Do:

General

• Maintain store standards and cleanliness to create a sparkling clean and organized environment.
• Create a positive first impression for customers by having an energetic attitude and adhering to the dress code.
• Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere, non-business-like greeting.
• Provide customers with current and relevant information about products.
• Offer quality service in fitting rooms, timely follow-ups with customers, and attempt to add on to the sale.
• Ensure efficient service at the cash wrap, including offering gift cards, maintaining cash wrap cleanliness, and capturing customer information in the database.
• Sincerely thank all customers for shopping as they exit the store and invite them to return.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to multitask and handle various tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in using CAD tools and designing software.
• Good physical stamina, capable of standing for extended periods and performing some heavy lifting.

What Qualifies You For

The Role:

• High School Degree.
• 1-2 years of retail sales experience.
• Ability to use computer-aided design (CAD) packages such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Illustrator, or Photoshop to create visuals and plans.
• Good verbal communication skills.
