Overview Of

The Role:

• The Sales Assistant is responsible for generating sales and delivering a positive customer experience in the store. This role involves executing various operational duties as assigned by the store management team, including maintaining housekeeping standards and visual presentation. The incumbent plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing knowledgeable service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

What You Will Do:

• Creates a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to dress code.
• Greets customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting.
• Provides customers with current relevant information about the product.
• Sincerely thanks all customers for shopping as they exit the store, and invites them back.

• Provides quality service in the fitting rooms and follows up with customers in a timely manner.
• Provides efficient service at the cash wrap, offers gift cards, and captures customer information in the database.
• Attempts to add on to the sale during customer interactions.

• Creates a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
• Maintains cash wrap cleanliness and overall store appearance.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use CAD tools effectively.
• Customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform lifting tasks.

What Qualifies You For

The Role:

• High School Degree.
• 1-2 years of retail sales experience.
• Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) packages such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Illustrator or Photoshop to create visuals and plans.
• Ability to perform some heavy lifting and stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
