In-Store Visual Merchandiser | Apparel Group | UAE

Apparel Group is looking for an In-Store Visual Merchandiser to develop and implement visual merchandising concepts that strengthen brand identity, showcase products effectively, and create an engaging in-store shopping experience.

The role is responsible for maintaining visual presentation standards across store windows and interiors, optimizing merchandise placement, supporting commercial sales objectives, and training store teams on visual merchandising practices.

Brand Image & Visual Merchandising

• Ensure brand identity and visual presentation standards are consistently maintained across store windows and interiors.
• Create attractive and commercially effective displays that highlight products and support sales opportunities.
• Implement brand-specific visual merchandising (VM) standards and guidelines.
• Coordinate store displays in line with brand strategy and visual merchandising requirements.
• Develop floor plans and optimize store layouts to maximize visual impact and customer engagement.
• Arrange merchandise, signage, fixtures, and other visual elements according to approved guidelines.
• Organize merchandise according to product categories and ensure products are presented effectively.
• Take photographs after merchandise display changes for documentation and review.
• Use creative lighting techniques to enhance window displays and key merchandise presentations.
• Maximize the visibility and placement of new product lines and refresh store displays based on seasonal trends and collections.
• Re-merchandise store areas when new trends, collections, or commercial priorities are introduced.
• Collect and review feedback related to merchandise presentation and visual merchandising activities.

Store Team Training & Coaching

• Train and coach store teams on visual merchandising principles and brand presentation standards.
• Guide team members in completing daily, weekly, and seasonal visual merchandising tasks.
• Monitor implementation of visual merchandising standards and provide feedback where required.
• Support store teams in maintaining consistent product presentation throughout the sales floor.

Sales & Commercial Support

• Work closely with the Operations and Brand Management teams to support sales growth and commercial objectives.
• Collaborate with the VM Manager and sales team to improve product visibility and achieve business targets.
• Ensure visual merchandising decisions consider customer experience, product availability, and sales opportunities.
• Support the effective presentation of new collections and key products.

Store Opening & Brand Compliance

• Participate in the visual merchandising setup of new store openings and pre-opening activities.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure brand visual standards are correctly implemented and maintained.
• Identify areas requiring improvement and coordinate corrective visual merchandising actions.
• Ensure stores consistently follow approved brand guidelines and presentation standards.

Market Trends & Research

• Research current visual merchandising, fashion, retail, lifestyle, and consumer trends.
• Monitor market developments and identify creative ideas that can improve store presentation.
• Apply relevant market and lifestyle insights to visual merchandising concepts and store displays.
