Assistant Store Manager | Apparel Group | UAE

Apparel Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the successful operation of a retail store in Dubai. The role is responsible for assisting the Store Manager with daily store operations, customer service, team performance, sales growth, visual merchandising, and compliance with company standards.

The Assistant Store Manager will help lead the retail team, maintain excellent customer experiences, support sales objectives, and take full responsibility for the store when the Store Manager is unavailable.

• Assist the Store Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the store.
• Support the implementation of company policies, operating procedures, and retail standards.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Regularly review store administration and identify and resolve operational issues.
• Ensure all employees follow company and brand policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and customer-friendly store environment.

• Ensure retail staff consistently deliver high-quality customer service.
• Coach and support team members to improve selling skills and maximize store sales.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, collections, fashion trends, and brand guidelines.
• Understand customer needs and support the team in providing suitable product recommendations.
• Stay informed about other brands within the group to encourage effective suggestive selling.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to increase customer retention and repeat sales.

• Support the Store Manager in leading and motivating the retail team.
• Ensure employees have the knowledge and skills required to deliver excellent customer service.
• Prepare and manage staff rosters according to business requirements.
• Coordinate employee leave schedules and address staff grievances appropriately.
• Provide constructive feedback to the Store Manager and Area Manager regarding employee performance and development.
• Encourage teamwork, professionalism, and compliance with retail service standards.

• Ensure the store consistently meets established Visual Merchandising (VM) standards.
• Maintain attractive product displays and ensure merchandise follows approved brand guidelines.
• Stay updated with current fashion trends and product directives to support effective product presentation.
• Ensure merchandise is properly maintained to help minimize stock loss.

• Maintain constant awareness of store security and loss prevention requirements.
• Ensure employees follow security procedures and company policies.
• Take appropriate action to minimize stock loss and protect company assets.
