Job Overview

The Sales Executive is responsible for acquiring new customers and promoting credit cards and other banking products. This role involves direct sales, lead generation, and customer relationship management to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell credit cards, personal loans, and other banking products to potential customers.
  • Identify and approach prospective clients through various sales channels, including field sales, networking, events, and customer referrals.
  • Conduct face‑to‑face meetings and presentations to explain product features, benefits, and terms.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Generate leads, assess customer needs, recommend suitable banking products, and follow up to ensure successful conversions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries or concerns promptly.
  • Educate customers on responsible credit usage and financial management.
  • Ensure sales activities comply with bank policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards.
  • Collect and verify required customer documents for applications.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales transactions.
  • Stay updated on banking products, promotions, and competitor offerings, and provide insights to improve sales strategies and product offerings.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of sales experience in banking, financial services, or related industries.
  • Experience in selling credit cards, loans, or banking products is a plus.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a persuasive approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Goal‑driven, self‑motivated, and able to thrive in a target‑oriented environment.
  • Ability to handle customer objections and convert leads into sales.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work in a field sales environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, if required.
