Job SummaryThe Sales Supervisor leads and manages a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals and objectives. The role involves monitoring sales activities, providing guidance and training, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies. The supervisor works closely with the sales team to enhance productivity, resolve challenges, and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors in Modern Trade.
Job Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive training, coaching, and mentoring to enhance the team’s selling skills and support career development.
- Organize and staff the team with the right talent and resources to achieve organizational excellence.
- Develop and execute customer business plans to meet sales, market share, and in‑store fundamentals targets while building strong account relationships to drive accelerated results.
- Negotiate and manage customer trading terms—including payment, pricing, and funding—to meet business objectives.
- Set the Route‑to‑Market (RTM) strategy and detailed journey plans for sales executives, conduct daily store visits, and resolve issues.
- Communicate internally about competitor or customer actions that may impact business performance.
- Oversee the collection of trade receivables to ensure adherence to credit terms and SOPs.
- Solid understanding of sales principles, account management, relationship building, and sales strategy.
- Proficiency in CRM systems for managing client data and tracking sales activities.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple accounts effectively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build client relationships and close sales.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data and make informed decisions that support business growth.
