The Commercial Non-Airline Food Service division supports the hospitality industry by providing a diverse range of food service products across Distribution, Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), Retail, and Hotels, Restaurants, Catering, and Cafes (HORECA). The projected budget for fiscal year 2024‑2025 is AED 27 million, reflecting a 12.5% growth from the previous year's AED 24 million.
Job Context:
The role of Assistant Key Accounts Manager is essential in a dynamic, revenue‑generating department. The position focuses on various growth contributors, including client retention, strategic distribution in the hotel segment, and targeted efforts in Hotels, Restaurants, Catering, and Cafes (HORECA), Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), Full-Service Restaurants (FSR), and Retail sectors. The anticipated financial growth is projected at AED 27 million for the fiscal year 2024‑2025, representing a 12.5% increase from the previous year.
This role demands strong sales, customer relationship management, and team collaboration skills to achieve the projected growth.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hotel/Hospitality Management, Supply‑Chain, Marketing.
- Minimum of 6 years equivalent field experience.
- Extensive background in food service sales within the UAE market.
- Proven track record in key account management and sales within the food service sector.
- Demonstrated success in consistently meeting annual sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- In‑depth knowledge of the UAE food industry, including key stakeholders and market dynamics.
- Familiarity with export procedures and ex‑works terms is advantageous.
- Possess an established client database.
- Comprehensive understanding of food service across diverse sectors, encompassing new product development, distribution, retail, HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering, and Cafes), and QSR (Quick Service Restaurants) segments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiently manage accounts to achieve top‑line sales objectives, maintain agreed gross profit margins, and ensure prompt payment collection.
- Proven experience in key account management and sales within the food service industry.
- Self‑motivated with a focus on achieving measurable results.
- Strategically implement company sales strategies to optimize business performance.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
- Effective at cultivating and sustaining long‑term client relationships.
- UAE driving license is required.
