As a Telesales Agent - Outbound, you will generate revenue by actively engaging with customers through outbound calls. You will meet and exceed targets, convert leads into acquisitions, and build strong customer relationships.
In this role you will:- Conduct high volumes of outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote and sell products/services
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets and KPIs
- Effectively manage outbound calls and inquiries, converting them into sales opportunities
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients by following up on leads and nurturing relationships
- Handle objections professionally, negotiate terms, and close deals efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups using CRM tools
- Collaborate with the purchase team to align on lead conversion strategies
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions
- Assist customers with their inquiries, complaints, and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction
- Stay updated with product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends to improve performance
- Participate in team meetings, training, and coaching sessions to enhance skills and performance
- A minimum of a high school diploma and a bachelor's degree are a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in telesales, call centre, or customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals in a high-pressure telesales environment.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer engagement, and CRM systems.
- Well-versed in handling objections and closing sales effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
