The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and growing strategic accounts in the UAE market, ensuring achievement of sales targets, profitability, and long-term business growth. The role focuses on strengthening customer relationships, executing account plans, and maximizing brand visibility across all key customers.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
1. Account Management
  • Own and manage a portfolio of key accounts in UAE.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure full execution of agreed account strategies, plans, and activations.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets, volume, and revenue KPIs per account.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and convert them into profitable growth.
  • Implement trade programs and promotions aligned with BU strategy.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Provide actionable insights to BU and marketing teams to drive business decisions.
4. Operational Excellence
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, timely reporting, and compliance with company policies.
  • Resolve customer complaints and operational issues promptly.
  • Maintain updated CRM and all customer-related documentation.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Achievement of assigned sales volume and revenue targets.
  • Market share growth within key accounts.
  • Successful execution of account plans, trade programs, and promotions.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention levels.
  • New business opportunities converted into revenue.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of reporting and forecasts.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10–12 years of experience in Key Account Management / National Accounts, preferably in FMCG.
  • Strong understanding of UAE retail and wholesale channels.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage strategic accounts.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical thinking with ability to translate insights into action plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
