ISV Account ExecutiveThis isn’t a standard sales role. As a Strategic ISV Account Executive, you are a highly motivated hunter tasked with finding partners who will build their future on our technology.
What makes this role interesting?Shift from traditional software sales to a “hunter” of innovation
, where you act as a strategic architect for long‑term partnerships. Instead of simply selling a tool, you are identifying Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and convincing them to embed Qlik’s technology—including Analytics and AI/ML—into their own products.
This creates a unique intellectual challenge: you must master the commercial nuances of royalty structures and revenue recognition while simultaneously serving as a high‑level consultant. It is an opportunity for a seasoned pro to leverage industry relationships and technical expertise to influence how other companies build future products, all within a culture that prioritizes global collaboration and social responsibility.
Here’s How You’ll Be Making An Impact- Architect Partnerships:
Prospect for new ISV customers who will integrate Qlik’s technology into their own solutions as a value‑add. - Drive Strategy:
Manage the full sales cycle using value‑selling approaches to drive license revenue within the ISV industry. - Champion Success:
Beyond the sale, ensure customers successfully leverage Qlik to add value across their organizations. - Be the Voice:
Represent Qlik by presenting at external marketing events. - Hit the Numbers:
Forecast quarterly accurately and achieve or exceed quota.
- 8+ years of direct solution‑selling experience to large, complex organizations.
- 5+ years of experience specifically with Business Intelligence, Data Integration Software/SaaS, or equivalent.
- Strong record of achieving revenue quotas of at least $2 M.
- Previous understanding or experience in ISV technology sales.
- Methodical experience in managing complex sales using CCS or equivalent solution‑selling methodologies.
- Commercial Acumen:
Deep understanding of revenue recognition and royalty structures. - Market Knowledge:
Strong understanding of the Analytics, AI/ML, BI, or Data Integration space. - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
