Are you excited for a new challenge in the Middle East Region? The successful candidate has the right entrepreneurial spirit and perseverance to develop and implement the profitable compressor technique growth strategy. You will be an integral part of the sales process with the local customer centre specifically targeting Chinese customers (EPC contractors and Chinese companies present in the middle east).
Your mission is a regional one and will primarily focus on developing new relationships while reinforcing existing customers in the Region with the mission to increase Compressor Techniques market share with Chinese customer share. Atlas Copco Services Middle East is seeking an experienced Business Development /Project Manager to take the lead and handle the project sales business related to projects including turnkey installations within the Middle East Market.
You must speak Mandarin and know the culture and norms. The selected candidate will report to the Regional Business Line Manager –Oil-free Air, Atlas Copco Services Middle East located in Dubai, UAE and possibly liaise with other BLM’s in the region.
- Focus on Chinese EPC Contractors working on Major Projects in the Gulf region such as SEPCO, SINOPEC,CPECC, CEPCC, Sino Light, WISON Engg, JEREH Engg and others.
- Develop and maintain a close relationship with Chinese clients / contractors and companies involving Chinese investment & expertise and local sales engineers.
- Promote all Atlas Copco compressor technique products and solutions, in particular the Oil-free Air division portfolio due to the nature of the EPC projects/contractors.
- Focus on developing business of value products such as Oil free Compressors, Air Treatment products, Gas Generators ,VSD & FF units.
- Build lasting relationships with Chinese customers - End users, contractors and engineering companies and consultants highlighting our range and capabilities.
- Organize events and lunch & learn with the customers to ensure Atlas Copco remains First in mind, first in choice.
- Coordinate / facilitate with AC Wuxi and AC Shanghai Trading in relation to dual sourcing / needs / demands of Chinese contractors.
- Consistent use of C4C implementation of all sales and marketing activities to ensure accurate market information and customer database.
- Organize lunch and learn meetings.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in project sales of compressed air systems, preferably within Atlas Copco group and experience of dealing with Chinese contractors.
- Strong communication and organisational skills are a must.
- Product Knowledge of compressor technique portfolio is an advantage.
- Multi cultural exposure in global business related projects is a strong plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in project sales of compressed air systems, preferably within Atlas Copco group and experience of dealing with Chinese contractors.
- Strong communication and organisational skills are a must.
- Product Knowledge of compressor technique portfolio is an advantage.

- Good command (verbal and written) of English.
- Good command (verbal and written) of Chinese is a must.
- Familiarity and experience to deal and negotiate contracts with high value orders.
- University Degree in Engineering.

- Self-motivated & willing to travel extensively.
