Position Overview:
Al Khoory Group is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer (Fit-outs & AMC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling products and managing projects related to fire protection and detection systems in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a strong client base and network in the UAE’s fit‑out and AMC market.
- Become highly proficient in pitching company solutions and services to new clients while expanding the customer base.
- Acquire a detailed understanding of prevailing pricing patterns in the UAE market for fit‑out and AMC projects.
- Support the Sales Manager with any tasks or objectives assigned, and collaborate with other departments to produce commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with internal technical and sales teams to meet client requirements.
- Estimate the manpower required for annual maintenance contracts, fit‑out work, and modification projects.
- Prepare and issue quotations in coordination with the estimation team. Leverage your expertise by differentiating and utilizing your market understanding of competitors’ strategies, products, and services.
- Maintain a highly customer‑oriented approach with a focus on quality.
- Be determined and consistent in managing multiple priorities simultaneously, showcasing excellent planning and time management skills.
- Search for new clients who could benefit from our products and services in a designated region.
- Establish new relationships and maintain existing ones with customers.
- Manage and interpret customer requirements effectively.
- Persuade clients on how a product or service will best satisfy their needs.
- Negotiate tender and contract terms.
- Close sales by agreeing to terms and conditions.
- Liaise with other members of the sales team and technical experts.
- Resolve client issues and provide solutions.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the fit‑outs and maintenance sector.
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance and service contracts, specifically for Fire & Security Products and Systems (Fire Fighting Equipment, Fire Alarm Systems, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Fighting Pumps, Fire Suppression Systems, etc.) within the UAE market.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- Proven track record of generating business through FM companies, end users, and general contractors dealing with Fire and Security Systems.
- Proven success in achieving sales for Fire & Security products within the UAE market.
- Must be well‑versed with local Civil Defense rules and basic NFPA standards.
- Proficient in Fire & Security products.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Self‑starter with a determined, results‑driven, and strong sales‑oriented personality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
