A Security Supervisor with Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts is responsible for overseeing daily security operations within the hotel to deliver a safe and secure environment for Guests, Team Members, and hotel assets while ensuring compliance with local regulations and luxury hospitality standards.

As a Security Supervisor, you will lead and coordinate the security team, monitor safety procedures, and respond to incidents to maintain the highest standards of protection, discretion, and guest service excellence.

What will I be doing
  • Supervise, guide, and support Security Officers to ensure adherence to hotel policies, safety procedures, and luxury service standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily security operations across all hotel areas, including guest floors, public spaces, back‑of‑house, and external premises.
  • Conduct regular patrols, spot‑checks, and routine physical hazard/safety inspections to identify vulnerabilities and implement preventive measures.
  • Monitor surveillance systems, access control points, and overall security systems to protect guests, team members, and hotel property.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, incidents, and guest concerns, including assisting visitors and employees during emergencies.
  • Assist the Security Manager in handling incidents, conducting investigations, and interviewing involved parties while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Support the implementation and enforcement of fire, life safety, and emergency response procedures, including evacuation drills and emergency response exercises.
  • Maintain accurate daily records, shift logs, incident reports, and other security documentation in line with hotel and brand standards.
  • Handle interruptions, complaints, and escort unwelcome persons from the property when necessary.
  • Liaise with local authorities, emergency services, and government entities (Police, CID, Civil Defense, etc.) in the absence of the Security Manager.
  • Promote a visible, approachable, and professional security presence that enhances guest confidence and the hotel’s reputation for excellence.

Participate in training and briefing Security Officers on safety procedures, guest interaction standards, and crisis response protocols.

What are we looking for
  • Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in security operations within a luxury hotel, high‑end resort, or equivalent setting.
  • Proven track record of leading and supervising a security team in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment.
  • In‑depth knowledge of security operations, including surveillance systems, access control, emergency procedures, and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of local laws, regulations, and safety compliance standards relevant to hotel operations.
  • Formal security training, certifications, or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Calm, decisive, and professional approach to handling emergencies, conflicts, and high‑pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, with discretion and integrity.
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for Guests and Team Members.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
