This new position is open to UAE Nationals only and the purpose of the role will be to supervise and coordinate the daily security operations within the freezone. You will ensure the safety and protection of employees, members, visitors, assets, and premises. The role ensures compliance with applicable regulations, organizational policies, and international security standards, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks, managing security staff, and maintaining a secure environment for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Supervise Security Staff:
Lead, manage, and schedule security personnel to ensure 24/7 coverage across the freezone premises. - Access Control Management:
Oversee the implementation of access control systems. Ensure effective operation of CCTV, alarm systems, X‑ray scanners, and other security equipment; report and act promptly on any faults or breaches. - Coordination of response to security incidents, including breaches, thefts, or emergencies; conduct preliminary investigations and prepare reports for senior management.
- Conduct Risk Assessment & Mitigation via regular security risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement preventive measures inline with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Liaison with law enforcement, civil defense, and other relevant authorities as needed for security matters, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.
- Training & Awareness of security and drills for staff, members, and contractors, including evacuation procedures, emergency response, and safety awareness programs.
- Adhere to all security operations policies, ISO standards, and government regulations; maintain accurate logs, reports, and records.
- Oversee security arrangements during events, conferences, and visits by dignitaries or international agency representatives to ensure smooth operations.
- Open to UAE Nationals only.
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or related field.
- Relevant security certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or UAE‑specific security licenses are highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a corporate, government, or freezone environment.
- Strong understanding of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems, X‑ray scanners), emergency response procedures, and UAE regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of UAE laws, regulations, and organizational policies relevant to security operations.
- Ability to supervise, motivate, and develop security staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Strong analytical skills to identify security vulnerabilities and implement effective mitigation measures.
- Knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and other modern security technologies.
- Capable of leading response efforts during emergencies, incidents, or evacuations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with management, tenants, and external authorities.
- Keen observation skills to monitor activities and detect unusual or suspicious behavior.
- Frequent presence across offices, warehouses, open‑yard storage, and other Dubai Humanitarian premises.
- Must be available to respond to security incidents or emergencies outside of normal working hours if needed.
