Responsibilities

Monitor security CCTV in each workstation as per post requirements, following protocols for maintaining the security of the CCTV Control Room and its facilities, ensuring proper electronic surveillance is in range, proper communication with the security team, and performing as per CCTV operator certified norms and skills. Ensure proper understanding of all compliance in responding to all security levels based on the location, emergency reports and response for effective ERT mobilization with updates to LINE Manager as per standard practice and the Emergency Communication Chart.

Electronic Surveillance Documenting:
Recording information, investigation, cause report. Maintain a secure system for providing data in accordance with regulations set up by the Department of Protective Systems (DPS) and ensure the security of the control room and equipment is maintained at all times. Ensure recording of all CCTV surveillance cameras both static and PTZ for all areas as per post instruction, maintain the log book with proper handing and take‑over, and periodically report security status to LINE Manager and location in‑charge.

Report surveillance findings with accuracy and up‑to‑date events. Ensure no misuse of the surveillance system, recording servers, or unauthorized USB devices that could spread viruses, data theft, or access unacceptable material.

Communication and Coordination:
Accountable for understanding rules, policies, or regulations of the premises through post orders from the Line Manager. Communicate security updates to the team, develop and maintain positive relations among the team, assist in displaying and exhibiting CCTV services to interested parties, and provide an efficient and courteous radio and telephone answering service while dealing efficiently with all enquiries.

Safety and Alarms:
Ensure the safety and security of people and property within public areas and other facilities via surveillance of the CCTV network, following safety regulations as per the site evacuation plan and instructions, and taking measures relating to accidents, incidents and other risks. Call police or fire departments in emergencies such as fire or unauthorized persons, assist local police in cases of theft or violence, and maintain good rapport and coordinate with the technical team for smooth technical support.

Grooming and Punctuality:
Comply with standards relating to grooming and punctuality. Be alert and attentive to deliver tasks at all times, maintain a clean attendance record, and avoid late arrival at the site.

Qualifications

Secondary School / Higher Secondary School or equivalent.
Qualification from Ex Army, Police, Civil Defence, or equivalent.
Minimum 2+ years of security industry experience and on‑the‑job training.
Ability to speak clearly so others can understand.
Must hold a CCTV practicing licence with security knowledge including effective communication, time management, investigation, and interpersonal skills.
Must possess a SIRA Certificate.
Arabic nationality is an advantage.
