Foreman, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor, Construction Manager​/ Foreman

Overview

Foreman. Requires tried and tested experience as a fit-out/construction supervisor with thorough expertise in fit-out procedures, equipment, and OSH standards. Must be able to review drawings and plans, communicate effectively, and lead a team to ensure safety, quality, and on-time project delivery.

• Coordinate jobs according to priorities and project plans.
• Produce schedules and monitor team participation.
• Assign basic and daily responsibilities to workers and tradespeople.
• Manage and train workers and tradespeople.
• Ensure manpower and resources are sufficient to complete tasks.
• Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
• Oversee use of machinery and equipment.
• Monitor expenditures and keep projects within budget.
• Resolve problems as they arise and report progress to managers and designers.
• Adhere to site safety, compliance, and company policies.

• Proven experience as a fit-out/construction supervisor.
• Thorough knowledge of fit-out procedures, equipment, and OSH standards.
• Ability to review drawings and plans and extract actionable information.
• Strong business acumen and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Mathematical proficiency and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or a diploma in a trade (electrician, woodworker, etc.).
