Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumber to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our facilities maintenance department, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems throughout our properties.
- Install, repair, and maintain various plumbing fixtures and systems, including sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, and water conditioners
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of plumbing equipment, including water supply systems, sewer pumps, and drainage networks
- Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems, including cleaning fat traps, soil pipes, and roof-level ventilation and rainwater outlets
- Review building plans and specifications to determine plumbing layouts and material requirements
- Install supports and hangers for pipes, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring proper positioning and functionality
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to execute preventive and annual maintenance programs
- Adhere to all safety rules, local building codes, and regulations while performing job duties
- Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues efficiently and effectively
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with property occupants or clients
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Stay updated on the latest plumbing technologies and best practices
- Vocational certificate or diploma in plumbing or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional plumber
- Valid plumbing license (if required in Dubai)
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sewage systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting building plans and technical specifications
- Strong skills in plumbing, pipe fitting, water heater installation, and boiler maintenance
- Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations in Dubai
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and adherence to best practices in plumbing
- Proficiency in using various plumbing tools and equipment
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes
- Flexibility to work on call or during non-standard hours when necessary
