Electrician – Six Senses The Palm, Dubai at IHG Hotels & Resorts

The role of Electrician is responsible for ensuring efficient operation of electrical systems across the hotel.

• Execute electrical wiring plans for lighting, intercom, and other systems.
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarms and other systems.
• Install safety and distribution components.
• Prevent breakdown by inspecting and replacing old wiring, cleaning circuits.
• Perform troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
• Maintain a clean working area at all times.
• Use personal safety equipment while on duty.
• Adhere to Six Senses guidelines and maintain performance benchmarks.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

• Diploma or equivalent and/or valid license to practice the profession.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar setting within luxury hotels.
• Technical skills including ability to analyze and design projects, maintain full knowledge of electrical drawings, install machines, wiring, electrical equipment, and blueprints.
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools.
• Fluent in English language.
