• Carry out painting works including interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, repainting, polishing, and finishing works as part of facilities maintenance.
• Attend reactive maintenance calls related to paint defects such as peeling, cracks, damp patches, stains, and surface discoloration.
• Prepare surfaces prior to painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks, applying putty, primer, and sealants as required.
• Apply different types of paints, coatings, varnishes, emulsions, and finishes using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Ensure high-quality finish in accordance with specifications, color schemes, and FM quality standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades (masons, carpenters, plumbers, etc.) to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Follow approved work methods and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Protect furniture, fixtures, flooring, and surrounding areas before commencing painting works.
• Identify and report material and paint requirements in advance to avoid delays.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition and ensure proper housekeeping after completion of works.
• Update job cards and work orders in CAFM / CMMS systems upon completion of assigned tasks.
• Support emergency painting works and after-hours maintenance activities when required.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Painter in Facilities Management or building maintenance projects within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation, paint application techniques, and finishing standards.
• Familiarity with different paint types, coatings, and materials used in commercial and residential buildings.
• Ability to read basic instructions, color codes, and work specifications.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices related to painting works, including working at height and chemical handling.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
