Workshop Technician - Hoist

Rishworth is currently looking for a Workshop Technician - Hoist who will assist the Hoist Supervisor with inspections, servicing, and repairs to keep Rescue Hoist Systems safe and operational.

This is a position based in Abu Dhabi which requires relocation. Mobility assistance will be provided for successful incumbents. Education sponsorship, medical and insurance will be covered along as well with attractive employee benefits.

• Inspect, remove/install, troubleshoot, and repair Rescue Hoist Systems (RHS) and assigned systems per maintenance manuals and safety directives.
• Requisition parts and maintain shop/bench stock for RHS repairs.
• Complete inspections and prepare forms/records.
• Train host nation personnel on RHS maintenance procedures.
• Maintain inventory of tools and equipment assigned.

• Completed the Goodrich Rescue Hoist System from the OEM
• Minimum of 5 years working with Rescue Hoist Systems.
• Familiar with Goodrich Rescue Hoist systems and carried out hoist cable replacements, scheduled inspections, defect rectifications and functional tests.
• Familiarity utilizing Zephyr Hoist Load Testing equipment is a plus.
