Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure web applications using Laravel & PHP
• Develop, manage, and optimise RESTful APIs and headless backend systems
• Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to deliver seamless user experiences
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code following industry best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues efficiently
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Manage and optimise databases (MySQL), and other
• Participate in project planning, sprint meetings, and client meetings
• Analyse website/application performance and implement improvements
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in PHP and Laravel development
• Strong knowledge of MVC architecture and RESTful API design
• Proficiency in MySQL, database design, and optimisation
• Hands-on experience integrating third-party APIs (Payment Gateways, Shipping APIs, Google Maps, etc.)
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Experience with React.js, Node.js, and Next.js for building dynamic, performant web applications (preferred)
• Experience with open-source platforms like Word Press, Magento, Open Cart (preferred)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
