Web Developer Intern / Software Engineer Internship (Remote/Hybrid, UAE)
Mavsketch seeks a passionate Web Developer Intern to join our team for a 3-6 month internship. This role offers hands‑on experience in full‑stack web development, working on real‑world projects like Itematch—a disruptive rental marketplace in the UAE. High‑performing interns may be considered for full‑time placement as a Jr. Software Engineer.
Job Details:
- Position: Software Engineer - Intern / Web Developer Intern
- Employment Type: Internship (3-6 Months)
- Location: UAE (Remote/Hybrid options available, with weekly in‑office meetings required)
- Hours: 20 hours per week
- Stipend: AED 200.00 - AED 500.00 per month (Competitive, based on skills & experience)
- Gain real‑world experience in Software Engineering and web development.
- Hands‑on learning and mentorship from experienced professionals.
- Opportunity for full‑time placement as a Jr. Software Engineer based on performance after the 3‑month internship.
- Work on exciting projects to build your professional portfolio.

- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications.
- Work on front‑end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React preferred).
- Support back‑end development primarily using Node.js, with optional PHP involvement.
- Learn and work with MySQL/Postgre
SQL databases. - Assist in integrating RESTful APIs.
- Help optimize web applications for performance and security.
- Learn and implement best coding practices.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior developers, designers, and testers.
- Participate in Agile development processes.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of web development technologies.
- Web development experience: 1 year (Preferred).
Skills:
- Experience building website or web/mobile-based applications.
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Node.js.
- Experience with frameworks like React JS, React Native, Next JS, or jQuery.
- Knowledge of Git version control is an advantage.
- Eager to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and take initiative.
