Junior/Mid Software Developer

ROLE OBJECTIVEWe are looking for a Junior/Mid Software Developer foundational understanding of PHP, React, Git, and/or Dev Ops, along with basic experience working with popular content management systems such as Word Press, Umbraco, and/or Drupal. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their technical skills and gain hands‑on experience in full‑stack web development and CMS integration.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in the development and maintenance of websites and applications using PHP, React, and CMS platforms like Word Press, Umbraco, and Drupal – working alongside senior team members.
- Collaborate with team members through Git and Git‑based workflows (branching, pull requests, merge conflicts).
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
- Support CMS content updates, plugin/module configuration, and theme/template adjustments.
- Debug and troubleshoot front‑end and back‑end issues.
- Write clean, well‑documented code and maintain project documentation.
- Basic understanding of PHP (functions, arrays, form handling, etc.).
- Hands‑on experience (ideal, or be eager to learn) with Word Press, Umbraco, or Drupal (installation, content editing, basic theming/configuration).
- Understanding of Git version control and workflows.
- Awareness of Dev Ops fundamentals (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, version control, build tools).
- Willingness to learn and take initiative in solving problems.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and AJAX.
- Understanding of Docker or other container tools.
- Knowledge of hosting environments and deployment processes.
- Excellent communicator with strong organisational and follow‑through skills.
- Able to collaborate cross‑functionally and manage multiple work streams.
- Proactive and confident in working autonomously as well as part of a team.
