Back End Developer
Coders Connect is partnering with a rapidly scaling international iGaming organisation as they establish a brand-new technology hub in Dubai. With major expansion underway across multiple markets, the company is rebuilding their consumer platform using Golang, serving millions of customers, from the ground up to support millions of users, high-volume transactions, and real-time gaming experiences.
This role is for engineers who like building high-throughput backend systems that operate under real production pressure.
You’ll design and scale distributed Golang services powering a global iGaming platform handling millions of users and real-time transactions. The work is performance-critical, architecture-driven, and focused on reliability at scale.
- Design and build high-performance backend services in Golang
- Develop scalable microservices and low-latency REST/gRPC APIs
- Implement event-driven systems using Kafka, Pub/Sub, or similar
- Contribute to architecture for payments, wallets, accounts, and real-time engines
- Own performance, observability, and reliability
- Drive testing standards across unit, integration, and load testing
- Collaborate with Dev Ops on cloud-native deployments
- 3-5 years of production Golang experience
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-traffic architectures
- Experience in transaction-heavy environments (iGaming, Fin Tech, payments, trading, etc.)
- Deep understanding of Golang concurrency
- Solid SQL/No
SQL knowledge - Experience with Redis/Memcached and messaging systems (Kafka, Rabbit
MQ, Pub/Sub) - Familiarity with CI/CD and AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Kubernetes or Terraform
- Observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry)
- Experience in greenfield or scale-up environments
- Join at foundation stage of a new Dubai tech hub
- Ownership of backend architecture for a global product
- Clear path toward Lead or Staff progression
