Product Engineer - Calypso

We are seeking a highly skilled
Calypso Product Engineer with strong expertise in treasury and capital markets systems. The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on experience with
Calypso architecture, APIs, and trade lifecycle
, along with solid programming skills in
Java and database experience in
Oracle
.

• Design, develop, and support solutions within the
  Calypso platform
• Work closely with front office, middle office, and back office teams to implement business requirements
• Customize and enhance Calypso modules including
  Workstation, Pricing Sheets, and workflows
• Develop and integrate
  Calypso APIs and REST‑based services
• Handle
  trade lifecycle processes
  including trade capture, validation, settlement, accounting, and reporting
• Work on
  scheduled tasks, engines, and batch processing
• Collaborate on
  real‑time integrations
  using
  FIX / Kafka
• Provide support for system enhancements, upgrades, and production issues

• Minimum5+ years of hands‑on experience with Calypso
• Strong understanding of
  Calypso architecture and APIs
• Solid experience in
  Core Java development
• Good working knowledge of
  Oracle Database (SQL/PL‑SQL)
• Experience with
  REST API frameworks and integrations
• Strong understanding of
  trade lifecycle in capital markets
• Experience with
  front office modules
  (Calypso Workstation, Pricing Sheets)

• Strong understanding of
  Equity products
• Good exposure to
  Treasury products
  , including:
• FX / Money Markets (MM)
• Bonds
• Repo
• Interest Rate Swaps (IRS)
• Cross Currency Swaps (CCS)
• Credit Default Swaps (CDS)

• Experience with
  Calypso Risk / ERS modules
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as
  SA-CCR, FRTB
• Familiarity with
  real‑time data streaming (Kafka)

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment
