Software Engineer - Ruby On Rails
Overview
The Software Engineer - Ruby On Rails will work as part of our dynamic team, playing a key role in assisting our clients with technical issues. This role involves answering technical questions and dealing with incidents as they arise, providing exceptional support to ensure clients have a seamless experience with our software products.
Responsibilities
- This role is Level 2 support - handling complex technical issues.
- Must have a deep understanding of the software's architecture and code to identify and fix intricate problems.
- Provide immediate hotfixes and long‑term improvements for customer‑facing defects.
- Analyse software code to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Communicate with the customer success team about complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner.
- Ensure that customer issues are resolved in a timely manner and meet high‑quality standards.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in technologies/languages including Ruby On Rails, SQL, Kafka Streaming and basic AWS services is a must.
- NodeJS/NestJS/Type Script - nice to have.
- Problem‑solving mindset and critical thinking.
