PHP Developer

Multi Bank Group is a global financial institution headquartered in Dubai, UAE and operating in more than 100 countries.

This role focuses on developing and maintaining backend systems that support Multi Bank Group’s FX back‑office operations, Introducing Broker (IB) ecosystem, and legacy platforms. These systems manage partner hierarchies, client‑account relationships, trading activity tracking, and commission/rebate calculations across MT4/MT5 environments.

You will both enhance existing legacy systems and build scalable backend services that improve automation, data accuracy, and operational efficiency. The role requires strong expertise in PHP (primarily Symfony), solid software design principles, and the ability to handle complex financial logic tied to FX trading workflows.

Success in this role comes from delivering clean, reliable, and scalable backend solutions while ensuring stability across business‑critical systems.

• Develop and maintain backend systems supporting IB management, including partner hierarchies, referral structures, commission engines, and rebate calculations linked to FX trading activity.
• Write clean, secure, and maintainable PHP code using frameworks such as Symfony (preferred) or Laravel.
• Design and implement scalable backend architectures that handle complex financial logic, including trade volume tracking, commission rules, and multi‑level IB structures.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate with trading platforms (MT4/MT5), CRM systems, and internal reporting tools, ensuring accurate and real‑time data synchronization.
• Optimize and manage relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, Postgre
  
  SQL), focusing on performance, data integrity, and high‑volume transactional data.
• Support, troubleshoot, and enhance legacy applications while gradually improving architecture and performance.
• Translate business and operational requirements into efficient technical solutions and automated workflows.
• Implement logging, validation, and audit mechanisms to ensure transparency and traceability of financial and client data.

• 4+ years of experience in backend development across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong proficiency in PHP with hands‑on experience in frameworks such as Symfony (highly preferred) or other frameworks like Laravel, Yii, or Code Igniter.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, clean code principles, and scalable system architecture.
• Experience working with FX/trading systems, IB platforms, or financial back‑office environments is highly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful API design, web services, and system integrations.
• Strong experience with relational databases and query optimization (MySQL, Oracle, Postgre

• Understanding of MVC architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as Jira and Slack.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving ability, and comfort working with complex, business‑critical logic.
