Lead QA Engineer

The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in testing AI-powered platforms and LLM-driven systems to lead quality assurance initiatives across our products and platforms in Dubai. This role goes beyond traditional software testing; you will be responsible for understanding complex business workflows, AI behaviours, integrations, and user journeys to ensure our platforms remain reliable, scalable, and trustworthy.

You will play a key role in validating both traditional application functionality and AI-driven experiences, helping teams identify risks, uncover hidden dependencies, and maintain high quality standards across rapidly evolving systems. You will take a proactive and investigative approach to quality, rapidly identifying risks, validating assumptions, and helping teams iterate quickly without compromising reliability.

• Lead QA efforts across traditional software features and AI/LLM-powered capabilities.
• Deeply understand platform functionality, workflows, integrations, and AI-driven experiences to identify risks and assess the impact of changes.
• Design, execute, and maintain scalable testing strategies, regression coverage, and QA processes across web applications and AI-driven workflows.
• Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, consistency, prompt reliability, hallucination handling, edge cases, and overall user experience.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify risks, refine requirements, and improve quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Investigate defects, production incidents, hidden dependencies, and unintended side effects to improve reliability and long‑term platform quality.
• Drive QA best practices and promote a culture of quality ownership across the engineering team through mentorship, collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 7+ years of experience in QA Engineering, Software Testing, or Quality Assurance leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience testing complex web applications, SaaS platforms, or distributed systems.
• Experience testing AI-powered applications, LLM integrations, conversational AI systems, or intelligent automation workflows.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, integrations, business workflows, and scalable QA processes across complex platforms.
• Experience validating AI-generated outputs, including prompt testing, hallucination detection, edge case analysis, and response consistency.
• Familiarity working closely with developers to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and improve overall product quality.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with a proactive mindset and passion for building high‑quality products.

• Master's Degree in a related field.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of time series data or experience working with energy, IoT, or sustainability projects.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or tools like Git, Docker, or APIs.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor etc.).
• Exposure to agnostic AI frameworks or modern developer tools for building flexible, provider-independent applications.
• ISTQB Certification (CT-AI, CT-GenAI, or equivalent).

Compensation Package: We offer a base salary of 16,000 AED/month, plus comprehensive health insurance.
