You will work alongside quant researchers, traders and infrastructure engineers to develop the firm’s next generation trading infrastructure. The work focuses on building performant, reliable systems that handle real-time market data and high-volume order execution. This is an opportunity to work in a deeply technical environment where performance, efficiency and reliability are critical.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop low-latency trading infrastructure in Rust.
- Build systems that process high-throughput real-time market data.
- Implement highly optimised networking and messaging systems.
- Contribute to order execution, exchange connectivity and trading engine components.
- Work closely with quant researchers and traders to optimise performance.
- Improve system reliability, latency and scalability across the trading stack.
- Experience with C or other systems languages.
- Knowledge of market data feeds and exchange APIs.
- Experience working in HFT, proprietary trading or market making environments.
- Understanding of Linux performance tuning and networking.
- Strong experience with Rust in production systems.
- Background building high-performance or low-latency software.
- Solid understanding of systems programming, concurrency and memory management.
- Experience working with high throughput distributed systems.
- Familiarity with networking protocols and performance optimisation.
- Experience in trading, financial markets, HFT or crypto trading is highly beneficial.
