Full Stack Developer

Zurich Workplace Solutions (ZWS) is an entity of Zurich International located in the heart of the DIFC’s International Financial Centre. They provide localized workplace savings solutions that offer flexibility, control and make a positive difference to long‑term financial security. ZWS is the administrator of the DIFC Employee Workplace Savings plan (DEWS), a progressive end‑of‑service benefit plan introduced within the DIFC in 2020.

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Full Stack Developer to join the IT department.

• Connect to databases with EF Core.
• Manage database schemas with EF Core migrations.
• Develop software using a test‑driven approach.
• Address security scanning tool issues (Sonar Qube, API Right).
• Test Web APIs via Postman.
• Manage APIs via Mulesoft or similar.
• Implement user authentication/authorization via OAuth flows.
• Design, code and maintain mobile/web application user experiences end‑to‑end.
• Optimize code for performance, stability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with a cross‑functional team of cloud engineers, application/UI engineers, QA/validation and Dev Ops.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Engage with the open‑source community to assist in implementing mission‑critical software fixes.
• Measure product success with key metrics.
• Deploy React Native applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology and 5+ years of experience building production client‑side or mobile applications.
• Understanding of insurance, corporate savings and pensions/end‑of‑service benefits preferred.
• Experience working within an international and diverse cultural organization is beneficial.

• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Ability to manage own tasks and estimate effort to plan what is possible within a sprint.
• Participation in sprint ceremonies.

• Primary: MVC 5.0, C#, Web APIs, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, TFS, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Bootstrap, JSON, Postman, HTML, CSS.
• Secondary: AJAX, Microsoft Azure, Azure Dev Ops, CI/CD.
• Retail Mobile App:
  React Native, JavaScript, Web APIs, MS SQL, Azure, Play Store, App Store, JSON, Postman, HTML, CSS.
