Senior QA Automation Engineer; Mobile & Backend

We are partnering with an innovative fintech company building next-generation digital banking solutions powered by modern financial infrastructure and AI-driven experiences. The engineering team operates in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment focused on quality, reliability, and scalable systems.

The company works with a modern Type Script stack
, including React Native, Expo, GraphQL/REST, Web Sockets, and AWS Serverless technologies such as Lambda, DynamoDB, Event Bridge, and Kinesis
. AI tools are actively embedded into the engineering workflow to improve productivity, testing, and software quality.

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to help define and scale automation quality practices across mobile applications, backend services, and real-time systems.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building automated testing frameworks, improving reliability in complex environments, and working closely with engineering teams in a modern, AI-enabled development culture.

• Build and maintain automated test suites for backend and mobile systems.
• Develop and improve mobile E2E automation using tools such as Maestro or Detox
  .
• Implement and maintain API contract testing across REST, GraphQL, and real-time systems.
• Test serverless and event-driven architectures in AWS environments.
• Ensure reliability of payment and transaction-related systems.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to reduce regressions and improve release quality.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define quality standards and testing strategies.
• Leverage AI tools to improve automation, debugging, and QA efficiency.

• Hands‑on experience with Jest, PactumJS, API contract testing, and Type Script‑based test suites

• Experience with mobile E2E testing (
  Maestro preferred, Detox acceptable
  ).
• Strong understanding of serverless architectures and event‑driven systems

• Experience testing financial products, payment systems, digital wallets, or transaction engines
  .
• Familiarity with blockchain, stable coins, or crypto payment infrastructure is a plus.
• Experience using AI‑powered development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Copilot, AI‑assisted IDEs) is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills and a quality‑first mindset.
