IT People Gulf is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions using Microsoft AI technologies. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about building intelligent applications that drive digital transformation across government and enterprise sectors in the UAE and GCC region.

• Design and develop enterprise-grade Generative AI and LLM-powered applications
• Build intelligent business solutions using Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Develop AI-powered assistants, copilots, and automation workflows
• Integrate AI services with enterprise systems, databases, and business applications
• Design prompt engineering strategies and optimize AI model performance
• Implement secure, scalable, and production-ready AI architectures on Microsoft Azure
• Collaborate with business, product, and technical teams to define AI solution requirements
• Monitor, optimize, and maintain deployed AI applications and services
• Ensure compliance with governance, security, and regulatory requirements
• Produce technical documentation, architecture designs, and deployment guidelines

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 6 years of professional software engineering or technology experience
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience developing Generative AI or LLM applications in production environments
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Hands‑on experience with Azure AI Foundry and/or Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Experience designing and deploying enterprise AI solutions using modern AI frameworks and services
• Strong programming skills in Python or similar development languages
• Experience integrating AI solutions with APIs, databases, and enterprise applications
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and solution design capabilities
• Fluent Arabic and English communication skills (mandatory)

• Experience delivering government sector projects in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, or GCC region
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and vector databases
• Experience with Azure OpenAI Service and Microsoft Fabric
• Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI, and data security frameworks
• Microsoft AI, Azure AI Engineer, or Azure Solutions Architect certifications
