About the Opportunity:

a prestigious VIP yacht based in Dubai, is seeking a hardworking and reliable Deckhand to join our crew. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and immaculate presentation of the yacht, while providing discreet and attentive service to our discerning guests. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate (Deck Cadet) or someone with a strong work ethic to gain valuable experience in the yachting industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior crew members with deck operations, including mooring, anchoring, line handling, and tender operations.
• Maintain the exterior of the yacht in pristine condition through cleaning, polishing, and general upkeep.
• Assist with guest services, such as setting up and clearing away for meals and social gatherings.
• Replenish supplies and provisions as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on deck equipment.
• Contribute to overall safety and security measures on board.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Follow all captain's instructions and adhere to maritime regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 18 years of age and physically fit for the demands of deck work.
• No prior yachting experience required, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential (Deck Cadet background a plus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Good physical fitness and stamina are required.
• A valid swimming certificate is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of safe boating practices is preferred.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential.
