Operations Assistant

• Support and perform daily operational activities related to customs and immigration across all UAE ports.
• Coordinate with the operations team to plan, schedule, and execute assigned tasks efficiently.
• Manage all customs and shipping documentation, including BOE, DPC, Gate Passes, and related records.
• Facilitate import and export clearances by air, sea, and land in compliance with UAE customs regulations.
• Coordinate the transportation and delivery of ship spares in transit to vessels at port.
• Liaise with airlines, shipping lines / carriers’ agents to prepare and process cargo clearance documentation.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of documentation as per customs and port requirements.
• Record, track, and reconcile customs deposits, claims, and exit/entry certificates.
• Apply for MOFA, certificate of origin, invoice attestations, and other relevant approvals.
• Prepare monthly freight clearance reports and maintain organized documentation for audits and internal use.
• Ensure strict adherence to company HR and operational policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager to support smooth operations.

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or customs operations within the UAE.
• Strong working knowledge of Dubai Trade, Mirsal II, and Calogi (DNATA) systems.
• Familiarity with UAE customs regulations and port procedures.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Valid UAE manual driving license is required.
