The Role

We are seeking a skilled Technician cum driver to join our Mobile Network Project team. As a Technician cum driver, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our mobile network infrastructure. This position is within the telecommunications industry and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and improvement of our mobile network.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair tasks on mobile network equipment and infrastructure
• Perform regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively
• Install, configure, and test mobile network devices and equipment
• Conduct field tests and troubleshooting to identify and resolve network connectivity issues
• Drive to various project sites to provide on-site support and technical assistance
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards
• Keep accurate records of tasks performed, equipment used, and any incidents or observations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus
• Proven experience as a technician in the telecommunications industry
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proficient in operating and maintaining mobile network equipment and tools
• Familiarity with mobile network protocols, systems, and topologies
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional after-hours or weekend work
• Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
