Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with experience in the automobile manufacturing industry and strong exposure to JAFZA/free zone operations. The role will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring smooth material flow, and complying with JAFZA and UAE customs regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for automobile manufacturing operations
- Manage import/export shipments through JAFZA
, including documentation and customs clearance - Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, shipping lines, and customs agents
- Ensure timely movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods to support production schedules
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, BOE, COO, Delivery Orders, etc.)
- Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with warehouse and production teams
- Ensure compliance with JAFZA regulations
, UAE customs laws, and company policies - Track shipments and resolve delays, shortages, or logistics issues proactively
- Maintain accurate logistics records, reports, and MIS
- Support cost optimization initiatives related to transportation and logistics
- 3–7 years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator in the automobile manufacturing / auto ancillary industry
- Mandatory experience handling JAFZA/free zone logistics operations
- Hands-on experience with import/export documentation and customs clearance
- Strong coordination skills with internal teams and external service providers
- Good knowledge of UAE logistics practices and regulations
- Proficient in MS Excel and basic ERP systems
