DTC - Head of Fleet Maintenance

DTC was established in 1994 to operate a fleet of taxis and has since expanded to offer an extensive range of integrated mobility solutions across four key business lines: taxis, VIP limousines, buses and last mile delivery bike services.
DTC is the number one taxi operator by fleet size in Dubai with approximately 45% market share. In 2024, the Company's taxis and limousines completed 49 million trips.
This role leads and oversees end-to-end maintenance and repair operations for a diverse fleet including taxis, VIP vehicles, buses, and motorbikes. The role ensures fleet safety, reliability, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance through strategic maintenance planning, strong team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Fleet Maintenance strategy aligned with organizational objectives
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, inspections, and accident repairs across the fleet
- Manage preventive maintenance programs and vehicle performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and manufacturer standards
- Optimize maintenance processes, inventory, and cost efficiency
- Lead, develop, and performance-manage maintenance teams
- Coordinate with Procurement and external vendors
- Support budgeting, planning, and reporting to senior leadership
- 10+ years of fleet maintenance experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience managing large, diverse vehicle fleets
- Strong people leadership and process improvement experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or related field
- UAE or GCC experience is a plus
- English fluency required, Arabic is a plus
