Team Leader
- Air Imports is responsible for directing and coordinating the day to day operation in the Air freight. Manages the daily activities of all operational functions ensuring client satisfaction is successfully achieved and company policies adhered.
- Receive pre alerts from customer service.
- Check invoice, packing list and other documents for any discrepancy before the shipment.
- Check with airlines for the ETD and ETA of the shipments.
- Coordinate with the customer service team for any discrepancy on shipping documents.
- Arrange customs clearance of the shipment based on invoice and packing list received from shipper.
- Do the MOFAIC attestation through online for spinneys invoice.
- For all FOOD package shipment needs to go through DM portal for preparation of IRS.
- To make sure IRS is closed with DM after customs clearance & delivery.
- All original documents must go to archiving box for customs record.
- Arrange delivery to the consignee on a given time frame.
- Follow up on the delivery till completion and to update CS team.
- Coordinate with transport vendors for delivery of shipments / proof of delivery.
- Resolve issues regarding cargo shortage/damage/claims.
- Estimation and tracking details updation of the job files in CW1.
- Cost & revenue updates in CW1 and send the file to revenue team for JRB.
- Develop and maintain a healthy relationship with internal and external customers. Ensure timely and effective communication takes place within defined time limits.
- Provide necessary information to internal staff and W/H staff.
- Maintain a positive working relationship at all levels.
- Ensure KPI’s are met and reported on a monthly basis.
- Fulfill any and all other tasks as deemed fit by management.
- Processing Dubai Municipality Documentation.
- Maintain customs submission record properly.
- Follow up for Dubai Municipality document submission and inform CS on a timely manner for any pending issues to avoid penalty from DM.
- Coordinate with field operation for any pending issues with DM and close the cases.

- Bachelor’s or Masters in Logistics & supply chain, preferably Logistics management.
- Minimum 3 years in experience in a similar role. Experience in the freight forwarding industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
