Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate dispatch of goods to customers and warehouses. Liaise with transporters, freight forwarders, and courier partners. Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery. Resolve transportation issues and delays.
Monitor stock levels and maintain inventory records. Coordinate with warehouse team for receiving and dispatch. Conduct periodic stock audits. Ensure proper storage and space utilization.
Process sales orders and prepare dispatch documentation. Verify invoices, packing lists, and delivery challans. Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Handle returns and reverse logistics.
Prepare shipping and logistics documents. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Maintain accurate records for reporting and audits.
Negotiate freight rates with transporters. Monitor logistics expenses and control costs. Evaluate vendor performance.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports. Track KPIs such as on-time delivery and order accuracy. Update ERP system with shipment and inventory data.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good problem‑solving ability.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- JAFZA experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures.
- Experience in route planning and freight negotiation.
- Basic understanding of inventory management systems.
