Responsibilities
- Safely transport employees, clients, or goods to designated locations.
- Follow traffic laws and company policies at all times.
- Plan efficient routes to avoid delays.
- Ensure timely pick‑up and drop‑off.
- Perform regular checks of fuel, oil, tires, and brakes.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good condition.
- Report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Schedule servicing and repairs when needed.
- Keep records of vehicle documents, registration, and insurance.
- Submit expense reports for fuel, tolls, and parking.
- Be punctual, reliable, and well‑presented.
- Maintain confidentiality, especially when transporting executives.
- Provide courteous service to passengers.
- Follow company instructions and schedules.
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
- Must have a valid UAE driving license (light vehicle or heavy, depending on the job).
- Common license categories:
Category 3 – Light vehicle (cars, vans);
Category 5/6 – Bus/heavy vehicles. - Minimum high school education (10th/12th pass).
- Usually 1–3 years driving experience in UAE.
- Basic English communication required;
Arabic is a plus but not mandatory. - Good knowledge of Dubai roads and traffic rules.
- Ability to use GPS/navigation apps.
- Safe driving habits and clean driving record.
- Time management and punctuality.
- Polite behavior (especially for company or hotel drivers).
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
