Responsibilities
- Operate heavy vehicles with precision, ensuring the safe transportation of goods across varying terrains and conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
- Adhere to all local and federal transportation regulations, maintaining compliance with weight limits and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- High school diploma or equivalent (essential); additional certifications in heavy vehicle operation are preferred.
- A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) specific to the type of heavy vehicle you will operate (mandatory).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience driving heavy vehicles, showcasing a strong understanding of road safety and regulations.
- Familiarity with GPS and route planning software to optimize delivery efficiency and minimize travel time.
