Identify and evaluate logistics service providers including transporters, freight forwarders, and shipping lines. Request and analyze quotations, negotiate pricing and contracts.

Coordinate shipments locally and internationally; liaise with suppliers, warehouse teams, and freight forwarders. Monitor delivery schedules and resolve delays.

Analyze freight costs and identify cost‑saving opportunities. Compare rates for air, sea, and land transport. Maintain cost records and prepare reports.

Ensure proper documentation – POs, invoices, shipping documents. Coordinate with customs clearance teams and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and company policies.

Monitor vendor performance and service levels. Resolve disputes and claims with logistics providers. Maintain an updated vendor database.

Coordinate with inventory and operations teams to ensure timely availability of goods. Support demand planning and stock replenishment.

• 2–5 years experience in procurement/logistics (UAE experience preferred).
• Knowledge of freight forwarding, customs procedures, and incoterms.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
