Overview
Assist in creating section budgets, forecasting expenses, and ensuring adherence to plans for efficient budget control aligned with section goals. Identify cost‑saving opportunities and optimisation. Monitor spending, analyse differences between budget and actual costs to take corrective actions as needed following the line manager's direction. Efficiently monitor costs and forecasting expenses, prepare monthly accruals, and submit payout plans for the Finance Department.
Assist in identifying potential cost risks, develop contingency plans, review contractor claims through the Application for Work Done (AWD) to ensure prompt payment processing, and oversee contractor performance against agreed SLAs. Identify deviations and apply necessary deductions from payments as outlined in the contracts. Monitor and evaluate the utilisation of sourced manpower fleet, prepare summary reports, identify amendments required in the contract, analyse causes for external hire, and if due to fleet maintenance, initiate a back charge to the contractor for exceeding contract downtime limits.
Review financial documents (purchase requisition PR, Goods Receipt Note GRN, Service Entry Sheet SES) for proper cost allocation. Assist in setting financial objectives for both short‑ and long‑term such as fleet retirement planning and major purchases.

8‑10+ years in fleet management, logistics, or transportation operations. Hands‑on experience managing vehicle fleets (cars, trucks, heavy equipment depending on the industry). Preferred background in construction, FMCG, or logistics.

- Accident/incident reporting and resolution.
- Ensuring compliance with UAE traffic laws and company policies.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to optimise fleet utilisation and reduce costs.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- High attention to safety and compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (reporting, dashboards, data analysis) and knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP ERP or similar).
Educational BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Logistics / Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering (Mechanical/Transport‑related is a plus).
