Role Overview
The Heavy Duty Driver is responsible for operating and transporting rental fleet vehicles safely and efficiently. The role includes vehicle delivery, collection, replacement, and ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE traffic regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate heavy‑duty vehicles for transportation, delivery, collection, and replacement of customers.
- Ensure timely pickup and drop‑off of vehicles as per operational requirements.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report any defects or damages before moving to customer location.
- Assist in vehicle recovery and breakdown support when required.
- Maintain accurate trip, task, fuel records, and delivery documentation.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with operations and dispatch teams for daily assignments.
- Ensure cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles.
- Report accidents, delays, or incidents immediately.
- At least 2 years of experience as a heavy‑duty driver.
- Valid UAE heavy‑duty driving license.
- Proven experience in heavy vehicle driving, preferably in rent‑a‑car or transport operations.
- Good knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations.
- Ability to handle long working hours and flexible shifts.
- Basic communication and reporting skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle operational tasks when required.
- Responsible, punctual, and safety-oriented mindset.
